Introduction
 
Manufacturing is the process of converting raw materials into products. Product failure and/or overexpensive products are frequently caused by the improper selection of manufacturing processes. Therefore it is vital that every engineer should be familiar with the main manufacturing processes, their capabilities and limitations.
